The project
The slatted island base was finished on site (the in-progress photo shows it before the stools went in). Large polished porcelain tiles give the look of marble without the upkeep.
What we did
- New grey shaker cabinets with under-cabinet lighting
- White quartz counters and a large island with a slatted dark base
- Glass and stone mosaic backsplash
- Polished marble-look porcelain floor
- New stainless range, hood and recessed lighting
