The photos follow this home from bare frame on its pilings to wrapped, sided and almost ready to paint. Raised homes like this are built from the ground up for storm surge: the ground level stays open for parking and storage, and every living space sits above the flood line.
What we did
- Pilings and raised floor platform set to the required flood elevation
- Full timber framing for 3 levels, wrapped decks on every floor
- House wrap, windows and lap siding
- Interior framing, stairs and subfloor ready for trades
- Exterior stairs and deck railings
